Increase musx social media following

I spent the summer of 2020 as a Graphic Design / Video Animation intern at the music-sharing start-up musx. I created tutorial videos on how to use their services, and as a result, their social media engagement increased by 13.4%. I also touched up their website using CSS, which can be found by clicking here.

Behind the Scenes

I slowed down videos to make tap animation visible using After Effects

In After Effects, the tap animation was represented as two slightly transparent circles and a circle outline. I used keyframing to make the circles expand really quickly and then disappear. I also used a feature called "Time Remap", which allows the user to drag keyframes for certain points in a video to make a section shorter or longer. By placing two keyframes a frame apart, you can essentially freeze a video by dragging that keyframe away from the first one, if those two frames show the exact same image.
